Dirt path with lumber borders, footbridges, and decks.
Diagrams to build bird houses may be obtained at the receptionist desk located in the main office building. Types include Wood Duck, Bat Box, American Kestrel, Screech Owl.
The Earth Day Nature Trail is a cooperative project by: Coastal Georgia Audubon Society Coastal Georgia RC&D Council Eagle Scout Project, Group 248 First United Methodist Church, Brunswick Georgia Department of Natural Resources Georgia Pacific Georgia Power Company U.S.D.A. Soil Conservation Service

Unreachaable by path, on the W side of the north hammock, there is a bird roosting area and an eagle/osprey tower. To the west of this trail is a tidal ditch with water control structures. Sign at observation deck says steps are to access guided marsh walks, and indeed the steps were once blocked.
