Ebner B. Jourdan

Sun., Nov. 4, 1906

From Chunchula: "The sawmills are busy using up the timber blown down by the recent storm and Mr. Gralapp's new mill will join in this work in about three weeks from now. This mill will have a daily capacity of 15,000 feet. While Mr. Gralapp lost on his section of land very little timber, the storm damaged his cotton considerably."

"Yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock the tug Echo arrived in the river having in tow the new pilot boat Ebner B. Jourdan, from Brunswick, Ga. Since the recent tropical hurricane, on September 27, the pilot association has had only one pilot boat, the Louisa Harper having been driven ashore at Alabama Port."
